FPSC Consolidated Advertisement (Phase-2/2026) – Crucial Application Instructions & Rules

​To ensure a successful application and avoid automatic rejection by the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), all candidates must strictly adhere to the official guidelines outlined in Consolidated Advertisement (Phase-2/2026). ​1. Application Fee Structure & Payment Method

​The application fee varies according to the Basic Scale (BS) of the post. It must be paid before the closing date.

​3. Post-Exam Document Submission Requirements

​Candidates who secure higher merit positions based on screening or written test results will be required to submit certified/attested copies of the following documents to establish eligibility:

  • ​Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • ​Matriculation and Intermediate Certificates.
  • ​Bachelor’s, Master’s, M.Phil, or Ph.D. Degrees (as applicable).
  • ​Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
  • ​Experience Certificate (where required): Must show the exact nature of the job and a detailed job description issued by an authorized officer of the Ministry/Division/Department concerned.
  • ​Domicile Certificate.
  • ​Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC): Mandatory for government servants, to be produced at the time of the interview.
  • ​Equivalence Certificate: Wherever a degree's equivalence is claimed, a certificate issued by the HEC or relevant forum must be provided.

​4. Test Conduct & Exam Hall Regulations

​Examination Schedule
  • ​Tentative Start Date: Written tests/examinations for Consolidated Advt. No. 2/2026 will commence from July 11, 2026.

    ​Mandatories for the Exam Day
    • ​Original CNIC: Must be presented at the test center.

      ​Electronic Devices Ban
      • ​Mobile phones, smart watches, or any electronic communication devices are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Any candidate found in possession of such devices will be disqualified immediately from the current exam and permanently debarred from all future FPSC selections.

        ​5. Additional Key Rules:

        • ​Age Relaxation: Maximum age limit relaxations are granted strictly in accordance with the Initial Appointment to Civil Posts (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 1993 (as amended from time to time).
