The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has officially opened applications for PhD scholarships under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor project for Fall 2026 admissions. This is an excellent opportunity for Pakistani students to pursue their doctoral studies in the Top 100 QS World Ranked US Universities.

General Eligibility Criteria:
- Pakistani/AJK nationals.
- Minimum 16 years of formal education (BS/BSc/BE).
- No 2nd or 3rd Division in the entire academic career for Category I & II.
- Maximum age: 40 years for regular Government employees/faculty members, and 35 years for all other candidates.
- Must not be availing of any other scholarship.
Scholarship Categories & Specific Criteria:
- Category I (Top 50 QS Ranked US Universities): Covers the tuition fee (as per university invoice), stipend, and health insurance. Applicants must have secured admission in a Top 50 university and hold a valid GRE (Min. 300) or HEC HAT Score (Min. 60%).
- Category II (51-100 QS Ranked US Universities): Covers tuition fee up to USD 12,000/annum, stipend, and health insurance. Applicants must have secured admission in a Top 51-100 university and hold a valid GRE (Min. 300) or HEC HAT Score (Min. 60%).
