INDEPENDENT URDU HIRING VISUAL ARTIST
Key Responsibilities:
• Design graphics, infographics, and 3D animations to create engaging content that conforms to the publication's branding guidelines.
• Come up with ideas/data for graphic illustrations.
• Develop alternative angles to storytelling that integrate graphics into text stories to create interactive user experience.
• Build photos digital library for the publication, update and maintain it.
• Employ the use of a variety of resources (photographs, typefaces, diagrams, graphs, statistics) to develop or revise graphics that effectively deliver the required impact for the content to be posted on the website and social media pages.
• Keep track of visual content produced by other staff members for different formats (thumbnails/insta design) to ensure they conform to our set designs.
• In addition to graphic and visual design duties, the Visual Artist Independent Urdu will edit videos for news and current affairs, working closely with reporters and producers to create impactful, accurate, and engaging visual narratives.
Requirements:
• Able to use Premier Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Envato/Canva to create raster and vector graphics.
• Candidate must have a university degree in BS Graphic Design or any similar field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in both spoken and written Urdu and English.
